" so basically they said they had a data breach before secretly, when they're company was founded in 2000. Data is stored in secure and private data centers that are certified at high security standards with firewall and intrusion detection capabilities functioning 24 x 7 x 365. There has been no security breach in at least the past five years. They literally say this on they're website "Are videos and data collected by Monitor stored in a secure manner?Yes. Why are you protecting lockdown browser so much? Its such a violation of everyone's privacy. Like shit, one of my friends last semester got caught putting notes on her computer so she can look off of them while taking the exam. I know it's hard to believe that lockdown browser can be that sophisticated but you'd be surprised. I also used to work for an academic department while I was attending UTA and the times I've had advisors tell me stories about how they had to put someone on probation or dismiss them from the program is insurmountable. yeah, it's entirely possible to get caught. They can hear and see everything that you say so. Apparently, the software that they use flags 'suspicious' sounds and activity and it'll show up for the proctor to view. I've already went over this story before but I've had a close friend get caught cheating on an online exam. If you search in the subreddit, there's countless anecdotes on people who cheated on a lockdown browser exam and their professor finding out.which led to academic probation and/or suspension.
